The Public Law Centre has been around for some time. Understandably, no one should scoff at age, for obvious reasons. Age is the mother and father of experience. Age, experience, and perseverance are the fons et origo of wisdom. Many visitors to the site are already fully aware of the historical background of the Organisation. We started when we were just getting into university education. In its present form, the PLC started in a kitchen in London in 1995. Today, we have representation in 40 countries.
Age, experience, and perseverance, are the pacesetters for wisdom
The PLC as the Founding Member of the Organisation concerns itself with: studying, reviewing and recommending reform of domestic laws, Services carried on under this header cover practically all aspects of bureaucracy, town and country planning, local government administration, general support services for institutions and for individuals who are outside their country of habitual residence and domicile. We respond to the needs of citizens. We can only do what we can do, to the best of our ability and with the best of intentions. One of the things we do in this Division is, we take time to understand the domestic laws of the countries in which we have representation. The importance of this approach is that we integrate into all of the cultures of the country, without much ado. So, when we receive information from a member of the public, we do not pretend to know the answer. On the contrary treat any such queries as ours, too. We go behind the scene to find out more. People promotion is the purpose of government. The circumstances that led to Saddam Hussein being hanged bore no resemblance to people promotion. The concerns of a few are the concerns of many
The European Commission may have overlooked a problem which has eaten deep into the flesh of many big national companies, throughout the Continent. The problem relates to consumer protection or lack of it; compensation for wrongful acts done to customers, as in loss of business arising from poor telephone, router, internet protocol configuration or bad customer relations. It would be safer to leave these problems in the hands of the government of the country concerned. But, what if politics makes it impossible for a government to act reasonably and quickly?
Is my Mayor more important than my Prime Minister?

Trying to understand who runs a country can be as painfully frustrating as looking for a needle in a haystack. In Europe, and in many parts of South East Asia Pacific, we find evidence of abuse of authority of the central government by local government administrators. For example, whether or not a nation state recognizes a person's nationality, his or her immigration status, his or her Identity Card, should be dealt with by relevant government department. Unfortunately, central governments in many countries around the world give too much power to local authorities, and this encourages abuse of non nationals and their businesses.Below are details of our current research projects. No one person is an island. Of course, if you wish to have a go at one of the research projects, you are more than welcome.
