Q2: Can the ALE111 module be used in a redundant configuration?
A2: Yes. Two ALE111 modules can be installed in adjacent slots of the same node unit for redundancy.

Q3: Does ALE111 support multiple protocols simultaneously?
A3: No. Each module can only be configured with one communication function at a time.

Q4: What is the maximum number of subsystems that can be connected?
A4: Up to 30 subsystems per ALE111 (protocol dependent), or up to 128 devices for YFGW.

Q5: Are there restrictions on installation locations?
A5: Yes, installation must be on designated units such as AFV, ANB, or AFF50 series.

Q6: Can ALE111 communicate with Schneider Modicon Quantum devices?
A6: Yes. Modbus/TCP communication with devices like 140NOE77100 is supported.

Q7: Can the module read/write bit and word-level data from PLCs?
A7: Yes. It supports both bit (coil) and word (register) data operations depending on the protocol.

Q8: What is the cable length limitation?
A8: The maximum communication segment length is 100 meters.
