    • A: Absolutely not. The cable length is an integral part of the system’s electrical characteristics. Modifying the cable length will alter the system’s calibration and performance, leading to measurement errors. Select a model with the desired cable length for your application.

  • Q: How critical is the installation of the probe to its performance?

    • A: It is extremely critical. Improper installation (e.g., incorrect gap, misalignment, looseness) is the most common cause of failure. The probe must be securely mounted in its bracket and precisely aligned with the target area, with the initial gap set within the recommended range.

  • Q: Can this probe be used for measuring Keyphasor signals?
