A3: No, this module is not intended for speed control or overspeed protection. It is not designed with the protective redundancy or reaction speed required for such safety-critical functions.

Q4: Can this module be used to replace a Keyphasor module in the rack?
A4: Yes, it can be configured to supply conditioned Keyphasor signals to the 3500 rack backplane, removing the need for a separate Keyphasor module.

Q5: What are the output signal capabilities of the module?
A5: It provides 4–20 mA analog outputs per channel, proportional to full-scale speed or acceleration values. Outputs are unaffected by short circuits.

Q6: Is it possible to adjust alarm setpoints and delays for each channel?
