Q1: Can the AIP830-101 be used independently?
A1: No. It must be connected to a Desktop Type HIS, and only one AIP830 is supported per HIS.

Q2: Do both USB ports need to be connected?
A2: Yes, both USB Type A connectors must be plugged into the host PC simultaneously.

Q3: Is hot-swapping supported?
A3: Yes, but it is recommended to connect/disconnect only when the system permits to avoid functional issues.

Q4: Can the built-in speaker play arbitrary audio?
A4: No, the speaker is limited to system sounds and buzzer alarms.

Q5: Can keycaps be replaced or remapped?
A5: Keycap replacement is not supported, but 64 user-definable function keys are available for customization.

Q6: Can it be used with non-Yokogawa systems?
A6: Not recommended. It is designed for Yokogawa HIS and compatibility is not guaranteed with other systems.

Q7: Is VESA mounting supported?
A7: Yes, with optional VESA bracket, and the mount must support at least 10 kg.

Q8: Does it meet international safety and EMC standards?
A8: Yes, it complies with CSA, CE, EAC, RCM, KC, and other standards, provided the connected PC also has corresponding marks.
